Week 7 - Monday 31 August

 Hello All,

What a beautiful weekend of weather we have had. Spring is not far away now, bring on more daylight hours and warmth!

Patiki children have been hard at work last week on our Calendar Art. Look out for more instruction around this over the next few weeks.

We have been so proud of our Patiki children organising themselves before and after school. We know the occasional school jersey has been misplaced however overall they are doing a superb job! Please feel free to remind your child if they have lost a jersey or jacket to check the lost property box near the staff room.

Reminder to parents of Year 1 children. There will be a link sent out from the school office soon so you can book in an interview with Tracy or myself.

Enjoy the selection of photos below:

The impossible bridge designed by Harry and Leo.

Singing and dance Project in full swing, by Ava, Olivia and Grace.

Grace is very proud of her lego design.

Skyla and Elise worked as a team, we love cooperation in Patiki.

Can you work out what Ava's lego creation is?

We had a visitor on Friday. My dog Sam came for a visit so we extend our thinking about
'Roles and Responsibilities'.

Sam was well loved by all.

Stella and Bella hard at work.

This is Lizzie's drum set. How cute!

Thomas finished his cat sewing Project. Well done!

Block challenge with Sally, Tyler and Lachlan.

Week 5 - 17th August

 Evening All,

We hope you have enjoyed the lovely sun over the weekend.

Patiki children were very excited last Friday to earn all the pompoms in our jar for 'Kindness' and head off for our class treat to a local playground. We had a fabulous afternoon with some children playing soccer and others enjoying the playground and roundabout. Lots of laughter and chatting going on, so nice to get out and enjoy our local area.

Photos to come...

Please be aware of Mike's message during Level 2:

Sadly we have many cases of adults not distancing properly, not contact tracing and lingering at school longer than needed.

Accordingly we will return to our previous Level Two arrangements on Monday morning.

- Please drop your children off but don't enter the school grounds yourself.
- To avoid gatherings at our gates say goodbye to your kids well away from school and get them to walk in.
-Arrange an after school meeting point well away from the school gates.

We hope you all have a nice week and remember if you need to get in touch with us, email is a great starting point.

Term 3 Week 3

 Hello Whānau

Filing Reading Books

Thank you to those that have volunteered to put our reading books away. We so appreciate it.If you would be able to help please see Tracy or Kirsty and we'll explain what's involved.

Please find below pictures of the learning activities that the children participate in daily in Patiki. The three words that underpin all learning in Patiki are Detail, Quality and Sequence. This applies to the children's academic learning and their learning activities. Some of our learning activities involve working with others and some are individual tasks. The children are always proud of their creations. We want them to be creative, independent and team players.

Enjoy your week.

Tracy and Kirsty.
