Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

 Hello Parents and Caregivers,

We would like to pass on a huge thank you for all your support and kindness during 2020. It has certainly been a year we will never forget.

A special thank you to all the parents that volunteered this year for class trips, putting books away, woodwork and everything else in between.

The children are all deserving of a lovely holiday and a Merry Christmas.

See you all around in 2021.

Final week of 2020 - We have made it!

• A huge thank you to Matt Cockerell for Friday's Woodwork in Patiki. The children had a fabulous morning glueing, hammering and making wood creations. What a wonderful experience for all children.

• Thank you to the wonderful parents who have helped return our reading books this term, this is always hugely appreciated.

• SWIMMING THIS WEEK- Tuesday lunchtime swim, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday class swims. Please note we have also got a Wednesday swim slot this week to make the most of our school pool.

• Monday meetup tomorrow as per usual.

• End of Year Assembly starts at 11.45am, all welcome.

• This Thursday all children will meet with their new teachers for 2021.

• School finishes at 12.30pm on Friday 18th December.

A special thank you to our parent helpers on Friday, without you we couldn't have done this.

READING BOOKS

 Next week the children will not be bringing a reading book home as we do a stock take ready for next year. If you have any reading books at home please send them back to us on Monday.

Hammers needed for Friday

 Evening All,

If you have a spare 'hammer' lying around that we could borrow this Friday in Patiki we would be very grateful.

As you know we are very lucky to be making woodwork kits with Matt Cockerell and we need a few extra hammers.

Term 4 Week 9

As it always happens the end of the year is rolling in fast. We have a few tired bodies and that's just the teachers!!!

These are the dates for 2021

Term 1 starts on Weds Feb 3

Easter holiday is April 2 till April 6 incl.

Friday April 16 is a Staff only day and the beginning of the holidays

Term 2 begins on May 3

July 9 is a staff only day and the beginning of the holidays

Term 3 begins on July 26

October 1 is a  Staff only day and the beginning of the holidays

October 18 is the start of term 4

December 16 is the final day of the 2021school year

Reading book help

We have a large group of reading books that need to go back to our reading room before the end of the year.

If you are able to spare 30 minutes one day this week we would appreciate any help we can get.

Girls uniform - Swimming time

 Hello All,

We have a Patiki girl who has gone home in the wrong school dress last Friday. This dress was a lot longer than her own. 

If your child has come home wearing a dress that isn't there own one please come in and let us know.

A reminder to everyone to please name all items of the school uniform, especially during swimming time.

Woodwork making with Matt (change of dates)

 Hello All,

On Friday 11th December (please note a change of date) we are making little kits with wood, thanks to Matt (Zaviers Dad and Bunnings).

If you are able to help out Matt during the day with a small group of children please let us know.

Lost Swimming Bag

 Leo Russell has lost his swimming bag that was outside Pātiki. We think someone has picked it up by mistake. All items are named.
