Waimairi School Nunweek Junior Touch 2020.

After school competition on Tuesday nights from 5 pm, starts Tuesday, 20 October, second week of Term 4. Year 0 - 6 children welcome.

This is an independently run touch module that is the largest in the South Island.  The school provides the setup of teams and uniforms, but teams rely on parent helpers to manage and coach teams, no coaches no teams.  This module is not run by the school we are a club that provides teams to it, we must abide by their NZTC rules and regulations which includes having a minimum of 2 girls on the field for all mixed teams, so these teams will need a minimum of 3 girls.

Please note if our ratio of girls/boys is not sufficient we will need to do a ballot draw.

Grades are as follows with the completion run through to March next year. Year 6 children are expected to return to complete the season.

Game times to be confirmed.

Yr 0-2,  5.30 to 6pm         Mixed teams

Yr 3-4,  5.30 to 6pm         Mixed teams

Yr 5-6   6.05 to 6.35pm   Mixed, boys and girls teams

Please complete this registration form and return with $38 payment on Friday, 18 September to the Touch Registration Desk in the enclosed area at the end of Tillman Ave between 8:15 am and 8:50 am. Your payment covers team subs and team gear. Please return in an envelope to the SCHOOL OFFICE if you are unable to register on the Registration Day.  You will be contacted once the entry forms have been processed.  Deadline for the registration forms is Monday, 21 September. The office and class teachers have copies of the registration form.

Please contact Steve Bamford at stevebamford@hotmail.com if you are unable to return the registration form. No late entries.

PHOTOS

The children love having their creations photographed and put in the blog. We have had a great week with all sorts of creativity and fun. Two children were sparkler stars, Mum lipstick kisses good-bye, fantastic lego creations, as well as creating "The Impossible Bridge" out of paper!

We hope you have a super week.

This Friday 4th September - Toy Day in Patiki

 Hello All,

Our wonderful Patiki children have filled up the Pompom jar again and it is reward time!

The focus has been: Kindness towards others and using their manners.

So this Friday children can bring a toy to school and in the afternoon they can have fun playing with their friends.

Please make sure the toy is appropriate for school and isn't too precious. No electronic devices.

Thank you all for your support,

Interviews

 Good afternoon

You will see that the interview times have come out today. We wanted to just clarify the booking procedure for you.

These interviews are for Year 1 children.

You will hear from either Tracy or Kirsty so that you know which teacher to book with.

If you haven't heard then your child is Year 2 and reports and interviews for them will be next term. (Term 4)

Many thanks.

Tracy and Kirsty.
