We hope you have all come and seen our new classroom space. We're looking forward to our first full week in there and making the most of what it offers to us.
TENNIS
Our lucky kids are off to Waimairi Tennis Club for 2 tennis lessons. They will be walking there. They are welcome to bring their own tennis racket if they want to but most of the children will use what the club supplies for the lesson. They will learn and practice some new skills and be exposed to a new sport that the younger ones may not have tried before. The junior part of the club runs a strong and outstanding junior programme catering for lessons which run for 2 terms and they also offer inter club competitions as well. If your child is inspired by this you might want to investigate the club further. They will come home with an information sheet after their 2nd session with contact details if you so wish. The class sessions are covered by the term levy that you are invoiced for.
Our days are: Wednesday 4 November and Friday 6 November 9.00am-10.30am.

Class placements for 2021
Please let me know in writing principal@waimairi.school.nz by the end of Monday if there is something you need to bring to our attention regarding a positive learning space for your child next year. As professionals we consider very closely where the best fit for your child is for their learning, social and other needs. Occasionally a child may be better in a new setting. We do not offer a pick and choose menu for 2021 but do want to know of any specific things that may assist us. If your child is not returning next year please notify the office.
