Information regarding Level 2 in Patiki

Hello All,

Tracy and myself are back in today getting things up and running for Monday. We are very excited to catch up with all our wee people!

Below are some bits and pieces to help make our arrival back at school a little easier:

-Please could you arrange for your child to bring a named pencil case, this will be kept at school in their tote tray, we will give out stationery to the children on Monday.

-All children need their own drink bottle every day. The school drinking fountains will be closed.

-Please remind your child to leave their fruit break in their bag.

-Children are more than welcome to bring their scooters and ripsticks to ride on during break times.

-Please remind your child we can not give hugs, high fives or hold hands. However we can give big happy waves and hellos to each other.

-Each morning one of us will meet children at the Tillman Ave gate from 8.30am onwards. At the end of the day we will walk all children back to the front gate with their bags, lunch boxes, jackets etc...

-Next week is going to be called Week 4 and moving forward we will finish in Week 10, Friday 3rd July. (Just in case you wanted to make any holiday plans)

-Reading books will not come home in the first week back. All books need to be wiped clean after being used. Children will read each day with the teacher and then the books will be handed back in. This will be re-looked at for the following week.

Notice for Music lessons:
Music lessons are able to start up again next week. The violin, ukulele, piano, cello, guitar, keyboard, and drum teachers are all good to go. Lesson days and times are the same as last term so please remember to bring your instruments to school.  Singing and Brass lessons will be recommencing in Week 5.

I think that is all for now. I know this is a lot to process and get your heads around. The most important thing is that we will be ready to meet your wee person on Monday morning from 8.30am onwards and we have a very settled and routined day planned in Patiki. I think there will be a lot of excitement catching up with friends as well.

Enjoy being in Level 2, see you all on Monday morning.

Kirsty and Tracy
