Term 2 Week 1- Wednesday 15 April
Welcome to the first day of Term 2. We know this is a strange way to go to school but it’s also a bit exciting to be doing something new! There will be some things that you can do each day and some that you have the week to complete.

TEDDY BEAR WEEK

This week’s challenges:
Lego Challenge
Make a Teddy bear Lego House-Your Teddy Bear must fit inside!
Project
Plan your project using our Patiki design format. An example is on our blog. You could draw your plan on a piece of paper or use an old school book from last year.

Here are some Project ideas:
-plan and make a fort for your teddies
-plan and make a teddy bear hospital
-plan and make your teddy a new toy
-if you have access to sewing materials, make your teddy a new clothing item
-plan a treasure hunt in your garden with your teddies, hide 5 teddies and get someone to find them

You will need to take a photo and upload this onto Seesaw at the end of the week.

-Children can choose one of there favourite fitness activities. We like 'Twist and Shout'.

Set up a course outside for you and your teddy to complete, e.g.jump over the stick, ride your scooter down the drive, run in and out of the trees, find 3 different coloured leaves, skip to the back fence...

Look up Sparklers.org.nz -try some Tummy breathing-maybe you could teach a member of your family.
